Our sweet little boy joined our family 8-10-10 at 9:28am weighing 7lbs 14oz & 20 inches. We love him so much and are enjoying every sweet second!

another Brig post....

I noticed that most of my post lately have been about Brig. Is it just me or is there something about a 3 1/2 yr boy that can make your day? Today I went to the store, (hopefully my last time before this sweet little baby is born)( most likely NOT) and when I got home the kids were glued to the t.v.. but you see I didn't even care because I had been gone for 1 1/2 hours alone.. no questions... no fighting.. no yelling... actually they are still watching t.v right now.. AND I don't even care.. Because today they have been perfect without even knowing it!
Back to the point of my little story. I asked the kids if they wanted to go to lifetime, ( its our gym we go to and they have a fun pool that the kids think is the BEST!) no one answered me except Brig and he yells... " YES!!! Mom, you're my favorite mom in the whole wide world!"
I just hope he still thinks that when he's 13!

Yesterday Brig put himself in timeout. He didn't tell me why he just said he was in huge trouble!!! & had to sit in timeout. Today Brig yells to me from the other room... MOM I AM IN HUGE TROUBLE... I keep playing with my weenie!

I absolutely HATE folding laundry! I thought when I got my new front loading machines I would magicially LOVE laundry.. nope.. didn't work.
Last night I folded and folded & folded for about an hour. Everything was in it's perfect little stack, seperated, all that I needed to do was mate the socks. I went to check on dinner & came back to laundry EVERYWHERE!!! Seriously! On the couch, behind the couch, in the hall... you name it it was there.. everywhere but in its nice, clean, little pile. I couldn't believe it. I looked at the little "batman" & wanted to kill him...
Jack & Drew were totally oblivious as to what happened, they were too sucked into MAN vs. WILD and didn't notice a thing! ( how does that happen?)
This morning I was talkingto Scott and letting him know what our little angel was up to last night & so he asked Birg why he did that.. You won't believe what he said in him cute little PERFECTLY INNOCENT voice... Dad I just thought they were soccer balls!
How do you stay mad at that? He has us hooked! He's in-charge & there's nothing we can do about it!

Mother's Day & Brother's Day

Drew is the funniest little boy around... not to mention the cutest! Last week we were driving in the car and Kali asked me what I wanted for breakfast on Mother's Day. Hmmmm, I asked if I got breakfast in bed & she said yes, absolutely! As I was thining what I wanted Drew asks, " hey mom, is there a such thing as Brother's Day?"
I told him unfortunately not & all he could say was DANG IT!
I still am laughing about it a week later. He's so funny and I think just for Drew the world needs to hold a Brother's Day... I mean come on, brothers want breakfast in bed too!

This morning while I was getting ready I noticed that the house was a little too quiet. I was helping Kali find a game to play on the computer & went to the front room to find these little turkey's eating Tagg's favorite snack!

What's in a name?

So baby boy # 4 is throwing me through a loop.. finding a name for this little guy is lately ALL I think about!!! Seriously, I'm not kidding! I had my girl name TOTALLY picked out!
So I am asking all my friends out there to give me some thoughts on names that go with our other guys... or just names that you like... if you give me a name I use i'll let you pick his middle name!

Our Newest LOVE...

Murphy is the latest addition to the Biddle family. We love him so much and I thought I would never like a dog again after our life with Bentley.
During spring break we went to Joseph City and at the Founders Day BBQ they were having an auction. I saw this cute pup and fell in love... Joe City makes me do VERY strange things! Before I knew it we had a new member in our family. Little Murph Murph Biddle.. Kali wanted to spell him name Murfie so it would be shorter. The kids have been pretty good at keeping their word about walking and picking up his poop, just wonder how long that excitement will last. He's so cute and he's been the greatest puppy. His temperment is mellow & loving. We are so happy that he's part of our home. I think we'll keep him!

Friday was a half day & the day was going great. Field day at Kali & Drew's school. Brig got to play on the "BIG KID" playground and it was even better when he was able to eat lunch with his sister & brother. We had such a great time watching Kali & Drew get their field day awards & spend time with them. After school we hung out with the Jones & had icecream cones. Dad had an early day so the boys were going to put the pool fence together. 10 minutes into it the pool fence fell over on sweet Brig & smashed him to the ground. I heard the kids yelling "EMERGENCY, EMERGENCY!!!", I ran to find Brig with blood rushing from his head, his face scratched up and a few minutes later we noticed a broken arm. We were trying to hurry and get into the van but it seemed like it took forever. 6 hours later we came home with a very beat up Batman, 10 staples inthe head, a broken arm & a pretty good black eye. The poor little guy had a hard time even looking at himself in the mirror. He couldn't quite understand why his eye was closed and now he can't believe that his eye is BLACK!!! BABY NEWS~!

On Monday March 22, 2010 we went to our Dr appt to see what was growing in my belly, Kali and I were hoping for a girl.. well to be honest Kal thought forSURE it HAD to be a girl.. she NEEDS a sister. Turns out, as luck would have it, another BOY. We're just happy that the baby is healthy & growing. The boys are excited for another brother, Scott says I am the best "BOY" mom & Kali will fall in love again just like she has everytime her "brothers" have been born. August better come quick because we can't wait to meet this little guy!!!! Now to find him a name...

Paradise Valley

Saturday we went on a great hike. Scott got a new backpack carrier for Tagg and we were on our way. With a pack full of lunch & snack we were set! The kids had their camelpaks full of water & they couldn't be happier. It was the perfect March day! Beautiful weather, nice breeze and since we have had so much rain it was GREEN! Prego me didn't last too long but we hiked for about 1 1/2 hrs. Scott says that was just a taste of what's ahead. Thanks! We brought Jack.. our "new child". it was so much fun and we can't wait for more hiking this spring!

Friday night the kids and I headed out to get Pizza and a Movie.. Cloudy with a chance of meatballs! They were so excited but sad because Dad wasnt going to be home to eat yummy pizza with us at Barro's. So 1st & foremost we HAD to get gas.. the gas light had been on for a day and since I was filling up I thougth it was the perfect opportunity for the 3 littles to go hand in hand to the Redbox machine and wait in line. They were so excited, I have never let them go across the parking lot and do this. When the tank was full I drove over and hopped out to help them get the movie. It was their turn and they were so cute... I watched my kids while they walked over, watched the 2 other people go in line after them and then when the lady that took 10 mintues to pick out her movie was done, I got out and helped them.. then this pretty girl who was very RUDE had the nerve to ask me if we were ALL together.. including the guy that got there after the kids.. I looked at her completely confused and said well I am just helping my kids.. then she was the worlds biggest b**** and tells me that I just cut in front of her and the other guy there and has the guy go ahead of us.. I then asked her is she was completely CRAZY!!! I said I watched you guys walk over here after I sent my kids across the street to wait in line.. My kids were amazed at this " pretty rude" girl. I couldn't believe her.. Was she afraid that we would take her favorite movie??? Cloudy with a chance of meatballs is pretty exciting but REALLY?? SERIOUSLY??? I am not sure where she came from but she permantly scared my kids. thanks chicka! Kali told me as soon as we got in the car that she will never wait at the redbox without me AGAIN!

Tagg's 1st birthday

Did a year go by already?
where is my newborn???
He is now 1 year old.
Last year I was in the hospital eating really good hospital food. It was raining...ALOT... it rained the whole time I was there. Jarom drove all of our kids to the hospital.. in the rain.. in the 15 passenger van.. when he 1st got his permit!!!
It was very wintery last Christmas. My kids were with my mom & scott and I were enjoying our time with our new baby.. alone in the hospital. That was only the 2nd time we have been alone since we have been married... well 3rd time. our small little honeymoongetaway and the birth of Brig.. is it sad that our vacations are at the hospital because a new baby is being born? I say no.. I love our sweet ecapes.. What is better than the joy of a new baby?
Tagg has been a joy since he was born. Weighing 9lbs when he was born put him at the top of our baby chub chart! He has continued to maintain his chubbyness and we love him that way. His scream can be heard for MILES but we love him still the same. He has taught me to slow down and enjoy my baby.. He loved to eat and be held so that is what we did for about 9 months! All day every day!
I can't imagine our family with out our little taggy wags! He brings so much noise and joy to our family. Happy birthday BABY!

So Much to BE Thankful FOR!

Thanksgiving is just around the corner and... I have so much to be thankful for..
I love the kids school they have come home these last few weeks with the cutest crafts..
you know the traditional turkey hands, turkey, turkey turkey!
My favorite was Drew's "Thankerchief" it is his cute little hand turkey and we're going to pass it around the table on Thanksgiving and express our gratitude for what we have.

Baptism & Birthday

Today is a big day for our family.
Kali got Baptized and Brig turns 3... well Brig ( who WHOLEHEARTEDLY believes that he is 5) doesn't actually even want a birthday so it looks like we're just celebrating Kali's Baptism.
Kali has been such a joy to my life since the day that she was born. She is and has always been my little girl. Now she's 8 and getting so big, growing up and getting BAPTIZED. I can't believe that my "little girl" is so BIG. This is such a huge day in her life and I hope that she always remembers it and that it will hold a special place in her heart. She want to write down her feeling of what it was like to get baptized later on tonight. I wish I would have done that so i could go back and reflect. The memories that I do have are great. We have friends and family come to show their support and Kali was really excited about her gifts that she got.

You're a WAFFLE

The other day I walked in the room and Brig was attacking Tagg. Not too surprising... I know! But then he proceeded to kinda jump on his back. That is when I had it and said Brig STOP, get off of him, you're hurting him, my goodness! you're awful!
(in the most loving way possible!!!)
Then, Brig looked at me, straight in the eyes and said,
"NO! You're a WAFFLE!"


What else do you do but laugh??
I love that kid!

Missing Uncle Feffy!

My Brother Jeff left a few weeks ago on his mission to Porto Alegre Brasil/Brazil, life just isn't the same with Jeff gone! The MTC is having some type of problems getting Visa's into Brazil so he gets to go to Provo for a little while, and then he'll get to go to the Brazil MTC. I look forward to his emails & letters. Last week I got a letter to Ash, Kali, Scott & 3 little turkeys! He also asked me if I was going to have another baby anytime soon, (mind you Tagg is ONLY months!) It totally made my day because yes they are 3 LITTLE TURKEYS!!!! Jeff is one of those guys that you just fall in love with. He is the most gentle person you'll ever meet. Before he left he took this Elderly couple to the Temple every week and did a session with them. He looked so forward to going with them and LOVES Sister Peterson's Quirky works that she says.. His all time favorite is NINCOMPOOP. Just the thought of that word and he starts laughing!
Here are just a few of the things that I am going to miss about him!
* His super funny personality.. he's either really happy or you bug the CRAP out of him.. (Only family can really appreciate this!) Kim (our step-dad) and Jeff have a LOVE / HATE relationship but deep down I know they really appreciate & respect each other. I'm not sure how long it will take for both of them to admit this but I am sure they are going to miss each other and their daily banterings.. that would usually end up in them wrestling.. a little too hard! They have a good relationship.. they take care of each other.
* His willingness.. Jeff is the Brother that will do ANYTHING for you at the DROP of a hat!
* His closeness to my kids! In fact Drew just walked in and said I MISS Uncle Jeff.. and started crying! A few months before Jeff left he took the kids for a picnic to the park and they LOVED it. I think it might have been to impress a girl but nonetheless it REALLY impressed my kids and they feel really close to him.
* Just Jeff being here!
I love that even though I am the OLD sister I still have a great relationship with my brothers. There is a family ritual I guess you could call it, I help all my brother pack before they leave on their missions. It usually happens about 2 am and takes FOREVER, but Jeff was super easy! He fit everything into 1 suitcase!.. and a backpack. I know he'll be a great missionary because he is a true go-getter, he has a strong testimony of the Gospel and loves people. He is a great example to all of his friends and family. Since being in the MTC he has already designated himself as the mediator with a few missionaries. Even though one of the missionaries was annoying Jeff said he still deserved to be treated kindly and in fact likes the annoying guy! Funny to me!
Jeff thanks for your example and all your sacrifice to go serve as a full time Missionary! We are here to support you 100% and all look forward to coming to get you in less than 2 years! Love you!
