How sad is it that every week I think to write in my blog but dont... I dont think I have even looked at it since my LAST post! This is my journal & I have missed out on recording the last year! so so so sad!
So here's an update on our life right now..
Were moving in 2 weeks! EEK! still in gilbert but closer to the kids school.. We will miss living next to Granny & Papa but know that its better for our family. The boys have definitely grown out of our house! With the gravel front yard & the pool backyard I am going NUTS!!!!!They have decided that the garage & street are the best places to play. So were moving to a house with a bug grass front yard & big grass back yard! 2 miles from the school & 5 miles from Granny. Were all excited & have been packing for the last week. So MUCH to DO! Kali has already claimed her new room with the walk in closet. We paint next week & move in right after.
Wish me luck in our new ward.. This ward has its perks.. we are one of the youngest families and & biggest. So I have gotten a lot of slack & understanding. Scott is the EQP.. there for I haven't had a calling since he was called. But times are changing!
Kali is loving every bit of 4th grade, she's OBSESSED with anything OWL & still has her same crush! Super artistic & thinks of the cutest thing to do. Every night she picks out her outfits. She loves shoes & Scott swears he might go crazy if she gets another pair! She loves to spend time with our family & I hope she never grows out of that. The only bad thing about moving she says is that she wont be able to just walk over to granny's & see how her day is. its just gonna be hard.. ( she tries to tell me while crying) She's so fun to be around & if we can just get her to take shorter showers we will all be happy! Will she ever have to take a COLD shower??? I think she is starting to see the perks of having all brothers.
Drew is still our big helper.. HE loves to help out & does so good when he gets the praise he needs. Last week he got Maxx up & changed him. Then was happy to report that he changed his first blow-out! Wow was I ever happy & thankful for the help! We have been working hard on spelling this year.. flash cards have practically saved us! he's doing so much better. He cant wait to go camping in a few weeks & loves to carve with his knife. Turning 8 is going to be the best thing for him.. HE can hardly wait to be a scout!!! The best thing is Drew gets baptized in about 4 weeks! he is soo excited! He wears his CTR ring everyday, its really cute & I am so impressed at how deep & strong his knowledge of the Gospel is. He really inspires me to gain a stronger testimony myself. Lately he has been reading the Book of Mormon on his own & asks me everyday if he can just take it to school... umm I wish you could buddy but I think you should probably leave it home :)
Brig is soo stinkin cute! He loves preschool this year he learned a bit of spanish & teaches us new words each week. He just learned to ride his bike with out training wheels & is the fastest runner I have EVER seen! He thinks Maxx is just the cutest thing ever & wants to SQUISH him like a BUG! he's has a major candy addiction & just doesn't understand why we cant eat candy all day long! He has to talk with dad about waking up every night or else! Brig melts everyones heart, especially mine.. I love this 5 year old!
Tagg... our little yaggy! Oh how we love this kid!!! he is soooooo funny! he started preschool at a REAL school because of his speech delay. It has been soo fun to see him learn & grow! his 1st phrase was.. I pay angry irds mama... REALLY??!! his latest is What ever mom & dass funny... thats not fair... & his favorite word is POOP! total boy. He loves to get hugs & kisses when he's sad & melts my heart when his eyes are filled with tears. HE is still really good at escaping & playing out front. he just recently potty trained & thought it was appropriate to take off all his clothes & pee in the front yard! he's also really good at giving me a heart attack! he rides the little green thing in the street.. all the way down to where we cant see or find him!
Maxx is just adorable.. what can I say? he makes me want to have 100 kids! he's sweet & naughty all in one! he loves to climb the kitchen table, steal suckers & cuddle. Brig came home with a cd dance mix fromhis friend emma's house & we learned that Maxx loves to dance.. especially to Will Smith hahahahahaaa! its the cutest thing ever & he shakes his shoulders. His favorite word right now is NnnnnnO! he tells everyone he sees NO! and shakes his cute little finger to go with it! he loves to jump in the bath & shower fully clothed & and has kept the toothbrush industry alive & running! we are lucky to buy new toothbrushes ever week! SO kind of him!
